The day wraps around 9:00 PM after all group matches finish.
My prediction? Group B will be a bloodbath. Vortex and Steel Reign both came in hot from regional qualifiers and neither team backs down.
Day 2: Elimination Brackets & Quarterfinals
March 16, 2025
This is where things get serious.
Matches start at 11:00 AM. We’re running a double elimination format, which means one loss doesn’t send you home yet. But two losses? You’re done.
Upper bracket quarterfinals run from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Four matches back to back.
Lower bracket starts at 5:30 PM. Teams that lost in the upper bracket get one more shot. I put these concepts into practice in Etsgamevent Players.

Here’s my speculation (and take it for what it is). The lower bracket match around 7:00 PM will probably feature a fan favorite that stumbled early. Those games always draw the biggest crowd reactions because everyone loves a comeback story.
Don’t sleep on the lower bracket. Some of the best games happen when teams are fighting for survival.
Day 3: Semifinals, Grand Finals & Closing Ceremony
March 17, 2025
Finals day. This is what you came for.
Upper bracket semifinals start at 12:00 PM. Two matches that decide who gets the first Grand Finals slot and who drops to fight through the lower bracket final.

The Grand Finals start at 6:00 PM EST. Best of five series. If the team from the lower bracket wins, we reset and play another best of five (because double elimination means the upper bracket team needs to lose twice).
Plan for the finals to run until 8:30 PM or 9:00 PM depending on how many games it goes.
Awards ceremony follows right after. Trophy presentation, MVP announcement, the whole deal. Should wrap by 10:00 PM.
Pro tip: The venue gets packed for finals day. If you’re attending in person, show up at least an hour early to get decent seats.
My prediction? We’re going to see at least one bracket reset. The teams coming through the lower bracket this year have shown they can adapt under pressure, and that’s exactly what wins championships.
